Amisha Parekh, MD, MPH, FACEP
Dr. Parekh graduated from medical school in 2007 and completed residency training at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Parekh is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and has been Board Certified since 2013. She has completed training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Parekh has also completed a Masters of Public Health at the Medical College of Ohio. She is an Assistant Professor at the Weill Cornell Medical Center and is available for consultation at the clinic for both urgent and primary care matters. She is licensed to practice medicine in Oregon, Washington, and New York. Dr. Parekh continues to practice full time in an Emergency Department setting.
Robert Birkhahn, MD, FACEP, AAFP
Dr. Birkhahn is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Birkhahn graduated from the University of Cincinnati, completed residency training at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and received his Masters from Cornell University in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research. He is Board Certified by ABEM and has been trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Birkhahn is a Professor at the Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York and has produced more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, conducted more than 50 clinical research trials, and still actively teaches medical students, paramedics, residency candidates and clinical fellows. In his spare time Dr. Birkhahn volunteers as a Primary Care Physician providing free medical care at the Southwest Community Health Center in Hillsboro.
Stacey Bzowy, ND
Dr. Stacey Bzowy is a licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing primary care and believes in utilizing both conventional and naturopathic apporaches in an integrated manner. Dr. Bzowy attended National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon graduating in 2011. During her time at NUNM she completed a two year mentorship in women's health with Dr. Kimberly Windstar.
Prior to graduating NUNM, Dr. Bzowy enjoyed a 28 year career as a Clinical Labratory Scientist specializing in hematology/oncology starting out in Chicago, IL and working at multiple facilities across the country. In her free time, Dr. Bzowy enjoys kayaking and hiking with her dog, and also devotes time to volunteering with the local food pantry and dog rescue organization.
Andrea Del-Olmo, ND
Dr. Andrea Del-Olmo is a licensed naturopathic physician and assistant professor at National University of Natural Medicine. After graduating from NUNM in 2013, she went on to complete a two-year residency position through the university, after which she was hired on as assitant professor teaching primarily in the School of Graduate Studies at NUNM. While in school, Dr. Del-Olmo worked for four years as a teaching assistant in gross anatomy. She completed a two-year apprenceship in women's health, midwifery, and pediatrics with Dr. Catherine Schaefer, where she assisted in 86 live births in the greater Portland area. Her specialties include women's health, chronic disease and minor surgery.
Dr. Del-Olmo recieved her baccalaureate from University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating cum laude with a degree in community studies. Prior to attending school at NUNM, she studied botanical medicine at the Columbines School of Botanical Studies in Eugene, Oregon, and ayurvedic medicine at the countries across S.E. Asia, Europe, Central America and the Caribbean.
Dr. Del-Olmo has an integrative approach to health care, which addresses mental, emotional and physical needs while utilizing the best of both conventional and alternative medicine to provide safe and effective treatment. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, hiking, cooking and traveling
Melanie Anthony, FNP
Melanie is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practioner. She graduated cum laude with bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Humboldt State University, and then went on to study nurse-midwifery at Vanderbilt University. After catching a handful of babies, she ultimately moved into family practice where she can nurture her love for working with patients of all ages and genders on a variety of health issues. While completing her MSN, Melanie worked as a registered nurse in a correctional facility in Nashville. She remains passionate about providing nonjudgmental healthcare to patients who are members of medically underserved or stigmatized populations
Melanie enjoys hiking, cooking, riding her bike, and being outside. She is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest where seh can adventure with her husband and recently adopted lab/pointer mix pup.
Latha Reddy, PA-C
Latha is a licensed and Board Certified Physician Assistant. She recieved her Bachelors degree in Biology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 1995. She completed a three-year Masters of Science degree in 1998 from Seton Hall University-UMDNJ's Physician Assitant Program in South Orange, NJ. She began her career in the area of Inpatient Rehabilitation Medicine caring for post-accute care patients suffering from stroke, motor vehicle trauma, orthopedic injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and cancer. She then took a clinical faculty PA position at Pacific University's School of Physician Assistant Studies in Forest Grove, OR, teaching graduate PA students from 2004-2010. She has been trained in Basic Life Support, including CPR and AED. She is also certified as a Nutrition Coach and has a passion for preventative medicine, modifying risk factors of chronic disease and educating patients about food choices, physical activity and lifestyle modifications. She continually strives to deliver compassionate care to her patients. She is a member of Amerian Academy of Physician Assitants (AAPA) and Oregon Society of Physician Assitants (OSPA). She enjoys cooking, wine and cider tasting, dancing and spending quality time exploring the outdoors with her husband, two boys and their Australian labradoodle, Apollo.
Todd Veros, CSWA
Todd attended Widener University and earned a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality. He Believes strongly in providing quality services without judgment for marginalized populations, and in recognizing the societal factors that can affect individuals' health and behavior. He has worked in the fields of mental health therapy, drug and alcohol recovery, tabacco cessation, and case management. Before all of that, he thought he was going to be a journalist.
Outside of work, Todd writes fiction, plays tabeltop games, and makes too many puns. Just ask his friends.

Nicholi Khajavei, DC
Dr. Nicholi H. Khajavei graduated from The University of Western States in 2017 as a doctor of chiropractic, and also has bachelor's degrees in Human Biology, Psychology, and Public Health. He joined the Pearl Health Center in January of 2018. In his treatments, he practices diversified adjusting techniques and utilizes flexion/distraction, soft tissue manipulation, Rock Tape, postural training, nutrutional adviceand exercise in order to help each, individual patient reach their personal goals and optimum health. He strives to educate his patients so they understand their own body and also teach them self-management techniques to better manage their health. Conditions that can be treated by chiropractic care include: neck and back pain, sciatica, disc herniations, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and general muscle or joint pain.
Dr. Khajavei is happily married with two teenage boys, a wolf-dog (Shadow), a miniature pinscher (Hercules), and cat (Cleo- the boss!). He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, snowboarding, riding motorscycles, mountain biking, running Hood to Coast, hiking, and playing with his fur babies.
Darren Brooks, L.Ac
Darren is a licensed and Board Certified Acupuncturist. He graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2007 and is also a nationally certified Traditional Chinese Medicine continuing education Instructor.
He enjoys helping patients of all ages with their healing process, and encourages an integrative medicine approach, where a patient has support from all their practitioners to achieve optimal health and wellness. Acupuncture treatments are a wonderful way to assist in the care of a wide variety of conditions. Darren has an extensive background with training in a number of traditional medicine wisdom traditions.
Beyond acupuncture, Darren practices mindfulness meditation, trains in the martial arts of Aikido and Taiji Chuan, and enjoys organic food cooking with his girlfriend.
Myra Bazell, LCSW
Myra Bazell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her Masters in Social Work from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Myra comes with an extensive background in dance which has provided her with an understanding of how our historeis live in our bodies and provide a great resource for understanding our lived experience.
Myra is passionate about escorting clients on a journey of Re-discovery; the revealing of one's natural strength and deep rooted source of power is for me a road to managing stress and embracing daily challenges.
Myra has been in practice for 15 years, working with diverse populations in areas of anxiety, depression, body image, loneliness, procrastination, relationships, LGBTQ, the social and internal dynamics of aging, teen challenges, illness, PTSD and Trauma. Myra teaches mindfulness and meditation when desired and collaborates on finding motivation for change. Myra is a proponent of healthy eating and exercise as well as setting realistic goals and a sensible plan of action.
Jeremy Adversalo, LPC
Jeremy is a licensed professional counseling (LPC), and received his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University. Jeremy has provided mental health services for a wide range of individuals, including those impacted by depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, substance use, and challenging life transitions. Jeremy believes it is important for mental health treatment to be tailored to our clients' wants and needs. Through this collaborative process, clients are able to identify their own personal goals, and begin to develop a meaningful and fulfilling life. When Jeremy is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing fetch with his dog, riding his bike, and going to music concerts.
